I am British of of chinese descent so am interested from that angle but more importantly this will widen the number of british citizens to have a more personal connection to the various remembrance celebrations that are held each year. I have always supported and attended services but in the context of general respect but the new knowledge that chinese men played such a vital part in the western front makes me feel even more connected to the events.
