After a journey of several months, these workers landed in a France at war, where they were met with degrading living and working conditions in the camps, racist residents, the cold of the countries of the north where they spend most of their time.<\/p>\n<p>This is the starting point from which we have created this spectacle, using the technique of masked theatre and movement, and will be presented in French and Chinese, with the show going on tour, first in France from 8<sup>th<\/sup> May to the 12<sup>th<\/sup> June, 2015, followed by China from 19<sup>th<\/sup> June 19 to 1<sup>st<\/sup> August 1, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>A flyer and project outline can be found attached.<\/p>\n<p>The tour will take us to the M\u00e9nilmontant Theatre in Paris from the 12<sup>th<\/sup> to the 14<sup>th<\/sup> June<\/p>\n<p>This introduction of the event is offered to history and geography teachers in the hope that it may be of interest.<\/p>\n<p>We are very open to discussing how we might create from this a dialogue between Chinese and French artists to interpret the show and its audience (teachers, students &#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>Contact:<\/p>\n<p>Theatre of the Ordinary<br \/>\n83 rue Manuel, 59000 Lille<br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:theatredelordinaire@hotmail.fr\" target=\"_blank\">theatredelordinaire@hotmail.fr<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatredelordinaire.fr\" target=\"_blank\">www.theatredelordinaire.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Supported by the Nord-Pas-de-Calais and the Department of Pas-de-Calais Region.<\/p>\n<p>On the way to the front &#8211; Franco-Chinese mask theater project.
