As we move from preparatory stages of the memorial to the design and commissioning stage we are now starting consultation on the proposed memorial.

At this point we have not secured a site for the memorial, but feel we should have a “proposed design option” in order to be able to fit within the timeframe. Scarily we now have less than two years for the memorial to be ready for unveiling!

Our consultation process will come in three stages.

1. Consultation with Strategic Partners.

2. Consultation with key stakeholders.

3. Consultation with the general public.

Currently we are at the end of stage one and commencing stage two. Public consultation will begin in early 2016.
